NOTD

I'm so obessed with pink nail polish and I was on a big mish last weekend to find a really bright Barbie pink polish. My inspiration came in the form of Jessica from 'The Only Way Is Essex.' If you haven't seen it, then you're missing out on possibly the worse acting ever seen but at the same time a wholly addictive piece of televisual broadcasting. If you have seen it, then I'm guessing you either love or hate? Anyway, I love trashy TV so this is right up my street!

This is Jessica who often wears the loveliest pink nail polish:

You can kind of see the colour here:

Both the photos are from The Only Way Is Essex website, http://www.itv.com/channels/itv2/itv2shows/theonlywayisessex.

And here is my pink polish, Urban Princess by Rimmel which was in offer in Boots too so only cost around £3.50. I love the bright pink colour so much and the polish has lasted brilliantly - about 4 days completely chip free.

Have you seen any of The Only Way Is Essex? What do you think?

11. Trashy TV

Does anyone else love trashy TV? I'm thinking Katie Price, Snog, Marry, Avoid? and Extreme Makeover to name a few. Some evenings, there's nothing I enjoy more than sitting down with a suitably sugary snack (Custard Creams being my number one choice, closely followed by Galaxy chocolate but it must be smooth oh or Wine Gums) and watching back to back trash that I've Sky-Plussed.

What do I learn from these programmes? Well, not a lot really but after a long day at work, I think a girl needs to switch off and enjoy some easy entertainment.

One of my favourite trashy programmes is Hotter Than My Daughter on BBC Three hosted by ex Atomic Kitten, Liz McClarnon. The gist of the programme is that the mother, who has usually had her daughter quite young, dresses way too young for her age and will often go on nights out with her daughter and attracts more attention but not in a good way. It's hilarious but of course the daughter hates her mother's "fashion sense" and finds it all incredibly embarassing. One mother was wearing an outfit which wouldn't have looked out of place at Spearmint Rhino. The boob and leg rule goes out the window in this programme!

What are your favourite trashy programmes? I'm always looking to add more to my Sky Plus list!

3. Pineapple Dance Studios

I love the Pineapple Dance Studios programme Sundays at 6pm on Sky1. I still haven't decided whether it's real or fake but quite frankly I don't care because it's absolutely hilarious!

My favourite person on the programme is Louie Spence. I love him! He's the campest most eccentric man you could ever imagine and he has so much energy and passion that you can't help but like him. And my word, any man who can lift their leg vertically up against their head gets my vote.

Has anyone else seen the programme? What do you think, is it for real or just a fantastic hoax?
